Which registration option is right for me?
AGAIN THIS YEAR: we are offering an “a la carte” option for registration that is labeled “without meals” for the full conference and/or individual days on the registration form.
This option allows you the flexibility to seek out meals on your own in lieu of the:
- OLA All Conference – President’s reception on Thursday evening
- OLA Business Meeting and Luncheon on Thursday, or the
- Awards Luncheon on Friday.
You can also use the Meals & Special Events Only Registration Form now or later to opt in for one, two, or even all three of those events.
Is there an option to attend the conference virtually as in years past?
The 2025 conference is primarily onsite but there will be a selection of pre-recorded sessions available to view via the Virtual Conference, available for $55.
As the list of virtual sessions is confirmed, they will be labeled “Virtual-Recorded” and “Virtual-Live” so you can find them easily on the Program page.
I heard there are various registration forms. Which one should I use?
Yes! There are three conference related forms. See below to learn about the purpose of each form. (Note: Links to forms will be available starting on February 1, 2025)
- OLA Conference 2025 Registration Form: this form should be used to register for the in-person and/or virtual conferences.
- Meals & Special Events Only Registration Form: use this form to purchase meals and special event tickets on a separate credit card or for a person not attending the conference.
- Name Badge Only Registration Form: use this form for speaker badges, presenter badges, and extra name badges for exhibitors.
I’m interested in knowing more about the meal choices. Are there options for gluten-free, vegan, etc.?
Please, see the Meal Menu page (coming soon) for full descriptions of the meals offered at the conference. OLA has been assured the ability to meet dietary restricted diets by the catering department.
I need to pay by invoice. How do I do that?
Register using the online form as usual, and when you get to the payment section, select “Pay Later” as your payment option. An email will be sent to you with a link to the invoice document which can be printed for mailing, or forwarded to your accounts payable department for processing. Invoices may be paid by check or credit card.
I need to register someone else – what do I do?
It is recommended that individual staff register themselves, making meal selections, session selections, etc. If the institution does not want their staff to register themselves, then the registrant will have to provide their OLA member website username and password that allows the admin into their account for registration.
For larger libraries that want to pay by credit card for the group registration, contact the OLA Association Manager at ola@olaweb.org to arrange details. Registrations will need to be submitted online before a group payment may be processed.
What is this “discount code” field?
You may ignore the Discount Code box, which is for conference planning purposes only.
I have to cancel my registration. How do I do that?
A $20.00 service charge will be applied to all cancellations. Written cancellations must be received by the committee by April 11, 2025 to qualify for refunds. Submit your request to Shirley Roberts, OLA Association Manager, at ola@olaweb.org. Requests for refunds will be processed within 30 days after the conference.
